Abubakr Adewale Bashir is a blogger, content creator, and the founder of Iwohub Media, a platform he started in 2020 during the long ASUU strike. What began as a small blog created from his room in Iwo, Osun State, has grown into a trusted source of information for students across Nigeria and other countries. He built the platform so students can get clear guidance, reliable updates, and access to real educational opportunities especially scholarships, internships, and international programs.
Over the years, he has mentored more than 200 students in applying for different academic and professional opportunities. His work has reached students from Nigeria, Ghana, Pakistan, Kenya, Egypt, India, The Gambia, and many others. Through his guidance, over 50 students have secured both partial and fully funded scholarships at home and abroad.
Abubakr is a British Council Trained Education Agent & Counsellor, giving him professional grounding in ethical student guidance, international education systems, and responsible counselling practices.
He is also studying for a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation through a distance-learning university in the United States. This has strengthened his ability to build educational projects, manage student-focused initiatives, and grow Iwohub Media into a reliable brand.
Outside Iwohub Media, he works in teaching, community outreach, and online training, helping young people make better decisions about their education. His WhatsApp community has grown to thousands of active students who depend on his updates, tutorials, and step-by-step support.
Iwohub Media has also grown through steady partnerships with universities abroad. Over the years, He have secured working relationships with institutions such as Vizja University in Poland and Uniwersytet Andrzeja Frycza Modrzewskiego w Krakowie in Poland. These connections help students get clearer guidance, verified information, and direct support when considering study options outside Nigeria.
Through all of this, his goal remains simple: to make quality education accessible, guide students with honesty, and build a platform that opens doors for young people everywhere.
