Musa has always stood out, not only as a client but also as a personality full of conviction. I still remember our many debates and disagreements especially on politics. He is strongly against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while I proudly identify as a BATIST. Each time I posted something commending Tinubu, Musa would be among the first to argue with me. Our quarrels were often sharp, but one thing was constant: it never broke our relationship.
That is what made Musa special. Despite our differences, he remained one of my best clients, and our paths continued to cross in meaningful ways.
Over the years, I assisted Musa with several scholarship applications. Interestingly, I never set a fixed charge for him. He would simply pay what he believed was fair. One moment that stays fresh in my mind was when I worked on an application worth ₦3,000 for him. True to my principle of sincerity, I told him to “pay any amount you like.” To my surprise, Musa sent ₦25,000.
That gesture spoke volumes. It reminded me that when you serve people with pure intentions, they will value your work beyond measure. The sincerity you put into your work has a way of multiplying back in unexpected forms.

As time went on, Musa’s confidence in handling scholarship applications grew. It reached a point where I would often encourage him, “Musa, you can do this yourself.” And he did. Whenever he got stuck, he would reach out for guidance, but gradually, he mastered the process.
That growth alone was an achievement. It showed that persistence and willingness to learn are just as important as the result itself. Today, all those steps have led to a remarkable outcome: Musa Zakaria has been awarded a fully funded scholarship in Indonesia to study Biotechnology at Aisyiyah University in Yogyakarta.
